Due to the impending winter storm, Northern State University will shift classes to remote delivery Tuesday-Thursday, April 4-6.

Campus offices and academic buildings will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5.

Residence halls will remain open. Dining Services hours will adjust as follows:

?    The Wolves Den will be open 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m.
?    The Grid Market in Great Plains East will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
?    Einstein Bros. Bagels and Created with Love will be closed.

Avera Student Health will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m., until further notice.

Essential workers who are overtime eligible will be notified by their supervisor if they are expected to report to campus or perform job duties remotely. Overtime-eligible employees who do not receive a notification from their supervisor should not report to campus or work remotely and will be granted administrative leave.

If you are an employee with a remote work agreement and your primary work location is not disrupted by the weather, you are not eligible for administrative leave and will continue to work as scheduled.

This is a dangerous storm, and we urge everyone to stay alert to weather conditions. For the most current forecast, visit the National Weather Service Aberdeen Office website, and find road conditions at South Dakota 511.

Please watch for additional information and email updates from the university throughout the week, and check northern.edu and NSU social media.
