Mrs. Angela Hermansen

Angela Hermansen came to Northern in the spring of 2023. With more than 19 years in the field of education, she has a passion for creating effective and engaging learning experiences for all. She is committed to designing and developing educational materials that foster collaboration, uphold the highest standards, and foster lifelong learning.

Maria Martens joined the CETL team in spring 2023. Currently, she is pursuing her MSEd in Counseling, specializing in School Counseling. She is dedicated to fostering well-being in all educational settings.

Sami Ryan is a Communications major with a minor in Psychology. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2027. Sami designs digital advertisements, manages social media accounts, and acts as a contact for CETL’s partners.

Dr. Liz Sills has been passionate about pedagogy ever since taking their first graduate school Instructional Communication course. Their pedagogical research conferences such as the National Communication Association and the Western States Communication Association as well as journals like Communication Teacher. Sills encourages students to view learning as an opportunity for adventure.
