Students will log in to D2L using their @wolves.northern.edu accounts. Please use the instructions below to retrieve your login and set a password.
RESPONDUS LOCKDOWN BROWSER
Chromebooks
Rather than using Respondus Lockdown Browser, Chromebooks will be put in kiosk mode for quizzes/tests.
- Installation of NSU Kiosk App for Chromebook - tech coordinators (PDF)
- Using the Kiosk app - E-mentors (PDF)
Windows/Macs
- Individual version - Intended for personal computers, this version requires administrator rights to install, update, and run.
- Lab version - Requires administrator rights to install and update, but not run. Updates are only required once per year.
Information on installation is sent out in May.
ACCESSING LIBRARY RESOURCES
To use Beulah Williams Library databases, students must use their NSU login credentials (@firstname.lastname@wolves.northern.edu). Instructions for obtaining your NSU login account are outlined above.
Please note that certain ports must be opened on the school firewall for a student to gain access.
