ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University will host the first annual “Create ’N: A Festival of Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship,” in collaboration with the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship, Thursday April 27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Johnson Fine Arts Center.

The festival will showcase several different speakers including Dr. Jim Hart, director of arts entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; South Dakota Secretary of State and entrepreneur Shantel Krebs; David Baldwin of Aquarian Technology Systems, as well as NSU students.

This event is to students, teachers, faculty, business people and entrepreneurs. Lunch will be provided.

The Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship is a major initiative to infuse creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship ?across all campus boundaries and into the community and region. It was launched in spring 2016.
