Therese Haberman poses with her clarinet

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University student Therese Haberman will hold her Senior Recital at 3 p.m. Jan. 14 in the Krikac Auditorium. The recital is open to the public and free to attend.

Haberman, a clarinetist, will be playing “Arabesques” by Paul Jeanjean, Clarinet Concerto Movement II K. 622 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Clarinet Concerto No. 2 by Oscar Navarro, with accompaniment by Dr. Christopher Stanichar.

Haberman, the daughter of Susan and Michael Haberman, grew up in Bottineau, North Dakota and graduated from Bottineau High School in 2020.

“I chose Northern State University because it was a good fit for me. As soon as I auditioned for Northern, I felt a sense of home and belonging here,” Haberman said.

Haberman will graduate from Northern in May 2024 with a major in K-12 music education and a minor in business. She studied with Dr. Audrey Miller.

“After graduating, my plans are to audition for graduate school at the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University.” Haberman said.
