ABERDEEN, S.D. – Dr. Robert Preston, assistant professor of banking and financial services of the Northern State University School of Business, recently published a scholarly article in the Northwestern Financial Review.

The article, titled “Will next generation move banks beyond challenges?” was published last month.

The article identifies and assesses the challenges currently facing the banking industry. Preston goes on to highlight the influence of the millennial generation and the challenges they, too, may present to the future of the banking industry.

Preston started at NSU in August 2012. He holds a J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minn., an MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
