The registrar supervises the maintenance of academic records and is responsible for making sure regental and institutional academic policies are followed. The registrar is responsible for converting policy and curriculum into the software used by students and advisors to track progress toward degree completion. The registrar monitors enrollments, registration and works with academic petitions, academic holds, residency issues, and complex situations that arise with other processes. The registrar works with athletic eligibility and serves on several committees. The registrar is the FERPA resource on campus, and is responsible for preserving the privacy of student records.
