SD TRIO programs

National TRIO Day - a celebration of educational opportunity and achievement. TRIO grants, federally supported student services and support programs, are dedicated to serving limited-income and first-generation students as well as students whose disabilities impact their academic success so that they can overcome barriers and succeed during their post-secondary educational journey. Today, we shine a spotlight on TRIO programs across the nation, and right here at home by featuring TRIO participants and alumni from a few of the 12 TRIO programs and 2700 TRIO participants found in South Dakota.
