Slated for completion in late 2025, the Business and Health Innovation Center will include state-of-the-art facilities for business, banking, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, nursing and social learning spaces. It will also be home to the Innovation and Startup Center and serve as a hub for community members to directly engage with innovative business and health programming and resources.
*The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Northern State University is pursuing program approval by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) (https://www.hlcommission.org). The baccalaureate degree program in nursing is anticipated for Fall 2025 with prerequisite courses starting now.
Our new state-of-the-art facility is currently under construction and will feature an active learning classroom, advanced simulation center, skills lab, debriefing rooms, and virtual reality systems. These resources will replicate real-world clinical scenarios, allowing students to develop critical thinking, decision-making, and practical skills in a safe, controlled environment.
Our experienced faculty will guide students through immersive simulations and hands-on lab sessions, covering a wide range of healthcare situations and essential nursing procedures. This comprehensive approach ensures that students are well-prepared for the challenges they'll face in their future careers as highly competent, confident, and compassionate nurses.
