Due to the impending winter storm, Northern State University will shift classes to remote delivery Tuesday-Thursday, April 4-6.
Campus offices and academic buildings will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4-5.
Residence halls will remain open. Dining Services hours will adjust as follows:

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University will host a free Tech and Entrepreneurship Camp for area teens this summer—and Northern is hiring peer mentors to work with youth at the camp.
The Tech and Entrepreneurship Camp, open to students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2023, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The camp will run for five weeks, starting May 30 and running through June 27, on the NSU campus.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Northern State University Speech and Debate Team made it to the national quarterfinals, with two students tying for fifth place in the nation.Ethan Kurtz and Jacob Swanson finished as national quarterfinalists at the Pi Kappa Delta National Speech and Debate Tournament, tying for fifth place nationwide.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University will host the 68th Annual Mathematics Contest on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Barnett Center on the NSU campus.
High school students from around the area are invited to participate in one of four divisions: Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra and Senior Math.
